Vanessa founded and currently leads the design research team at iRobot. iRobot designs and builds robots for the home, and is best known for inventing the Roomba robotic vacuum and the Braava robotic mop. Previously, Vanessa spent nearly a decade developing award-winning mobile apps, digital games, websites, and educational television for PBS. She has a Master’s in Human Factors from Bentley University. Vanessa loves working at the intersection of hardware and software, and is thrilled to share her experiences conducting global industrial design research.
