Satsuko leads design research at Xero, where she works on the payments and automations team. Previously, Satsuko led research and design at Element AI (acquired by ServiceNow), where she worked alongside machine learning scientists, developers, and strategists to build bespoke enterprise level software. She also co-founded a startup that built and implemented new social services from scratch, with governments, service provider agencies, and the people they served. Having an unconventional path to design research, Satsuko is excited to share what’s worked for her (and others) in uncovering what really matters to you and how to align your career towards this north star.
